These bacteria can cause urethritis, bacterial vaginosis (BV), pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), infertility, and other reproductive health complications. In many cases, infections are asymptomatic or present with mild symptoms, leading to undiagnosed and untreated infections that may contribute to long-term health issues.
With advancements in molecular diagnostic techniques, more effective methods for detecting UU, UP, MH, and MG have been developed.
