The NamuPlex™ SARS-CoV-2 Variants Kit is a multiplex real-time PCR assay designed for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2, including RdRp, N, and E genes as well as S-gene variants (T547K, 69/70del and T478K). Performed on a real-time PCR instrument, this assay extracts ribonucleic acid (RNA) from nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs of patients suspected of having respiratory infections.
