SML Genetree and JW Bioscience have signed a 'product supply contract and strategic business alliance agreement'

SML Genetree and JW Bioscience announced on December 11th that they have signed an ODM (Original Development Manufacturing) type of 'product supply contract and strategic business alliance agreement' on December 8th.

Through this agreement, both companies have agreed to ODM production of respiratory infection diagnostic kits including coronavirus. Both companies plan to establish and collaborate on a comprehensive cooperation plan from joint development of various innovative molecular diagnostic medical devices to domestic and overseas market distribution.

An affiliate of Samkwang Biotree Group, SML Genetree is a domestic molecular diagnostics company established in 2015. SML Genetree has selected Mirae Asset Securities as the underwriter for listing on the KOSDAQ next year.

JW Bioscience is a subsidiary of JW Life Sciences, an affiliate of the JW Group. Established in April 2016, JW Bioscience is a diagnostic and medical device company focusing on the domestic commercialization of essential diagnostic reagents and medical devices, and the supply of overseas medical equipment.
